Job Description:
The Account Coordinator is responsible for supporting the SEM team in the management of paid search campaigns across multiple channels. The core responsibilities include campaign optimization, reporting initiatives, and working on client presentations. This position will work on projects that service external CUnet clients, as well as internal properties.
Principal Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Create and manage paid search campaigns across Google, Yahoo, MSN/Bing, and other 3rd tier channels
- Work with SEM Account Managers to in developing and executing paid search strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Implement and maintain appropriate reports to measure campaign performance and results, utilizing Omniture and Excel
- Take ownership of reporting initiatives, including daily, weekly and monthly reporting
- Be accountable for the quality of day-to-day reporting as well as long-term strategic projects
- Develop robust keyword lists and conduct research for keyword expansion on continual basis
- Develop effective ad copy to reach target audience
- Work closely with SEM Account Managers to implement optimization techniques and testing strategies to drive conversions at the lowest possible cost, including but not limited to, keyword bid management, day- parting, match-type strategies, negatives, ad copy testing, and landing page testing
- Allocate and re-allocate funds based on performance and seasonal trends to maximize client’s budget
- Work in conjunction with SEO, Graphic Design, Social Media, Mobile, and Account teams to develop cohesive marketing plans to meet client’s goals
- Interact with clients on a regular basis to establish good professional relationships
- Become familiar with competitive research tools to present competitor information to clients
- Support the SEM Team with reports, presentations, research, and other projects as needed to meet deadlines
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Marketing or related field is preferred
- Some paid search experience is preferred, but not required

- E- Ablility to work independently in a deadline-sensitive and fast- paced environment
- E-Ability to multi-task and handle other duties as assigned

- E- Self-directed, proactive, and able to execute projects independently
- P- Understanding of Paid Search account set up, structure, and optimization techniques
- P- Basic knowledge of Google Adwords, MSN Ad Center, and Yahoo Search Marketing interfaces
