Job Description:
The National Sales Manager is responsible to lead CUnet’s efforts to sell our suite of interactive media products and services to higher education clients. These services include our industry leading Vendor Lead Management Services/System (VLMS), Lead Generation Services, Call Center Services, Operations Consulting, Email Marketing, SEO Training and Consulting, Paid Search and Paid Search Auditing, Mobile Media, Social Media and Display Advertising services.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed goals for new clients and new revenue generated from all business lines.
- Fully execute the sales process for all lines of our business including prospecting, discovery, persuasion and closing.
- Speak with C-level executives and directors of marketing and admissions regarding their existing marketing strategies and explain to prospects the benefits of CUnet services
- Execute consultative sales process including building out solutions from the CUnet suite of services that provide value for prospective clients.
- Maintain proper sales forecasting reports.
- Work with the account management organization during initial client launch to ensure a seamless transition from sale to implementation.
- Provide input to product management regarding product pricing, features and positioning within the space and relative to competitors.
- Work with Marketing to build and develop industry awareness of the CUnet product offerings.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred.
- 6-10+ years experience in progressively responsible sales positions
- Experience selling or consulting to the for-profit education market preferred
- Experience selling performance-oriented interactive media or marketing services preferred

- E- Ability to practice and quickly master in-depth demonstration and sales skills on our services
- E- Knowledge/experience of lead generation marketing channels and processes
- E- Knowledge of higher education enrollment and admissions operations
- P- Knowledge of spreadsheet and database tools (e.g. Access, Excel)
- P- Extensive knowledge of higher education enrollment and admissions operations
- P- Moderate technical understanding of common lead generation and interactive marketing processes.
- P- Sales management experience.
